Cost

Contrary to most previous IMC's, the 32nd IMC will take place in August and therefore the registration deadline is 31 July 2013. The standard fees are valid till 31 May 2013. After this date a late booking fee of 15 Euro is charged.

Registration fee:

The conference will be held at the Congress Center Hotel IOR (http://www.hotelior.pl/eng/). This is a big conference facility owned by National Research Institute. IOR is a comfortable but not too expensive place, with 3 large conference rooms, restaurant and a hotel with 108 beds. It's located 15 minutes from the city centre.

The registration fee for the IMC2013 is 150 Euro early fee (before 31 May, 165 Euro late fee after 31 May). The registration fee includes 3 nights accommodation in double rooms (Thu 22 Aug to Sun 25 Aug), full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner), IMC lectures, coffee breaks, excursion, t-shirt and IMC proceedings. Unless the “no accommodation” option is chosen, accompanying persons older than 12 years sharing a room with a participant must also register as a participant. All single rooms are already reserved and only double rooms are still available. Contact the organizers if you need an alternative accommodation. IOR has 48 double and 12 single rooms. When the number of participants exceeds 108 persons extra hotel capacity is available within 5 minutes walk distance.

You also have the option of the 100 Euro "no accommodation" fee (before 31 May, 115 Euro after 31 May). This option includes all conference benefits except accommodation and breakfast. In this case, you are responsible for arranging your own accommodation in Poznan. We could recommend some alternative hotels if you wish.

Extra nights:

People who need extra nights at IOR before or after the IMC can reserve these together with their IMC registration. The IOR Hotel offers single rooms at 38 Euro per night (breakfast included) and double room for 49 Euro per night (breakfast included). Note that you must have someone to share a double room when you register, your room companion should register at about the same time to get the double room reservation confirmed. All fees must be paid in advance and are subject to the cancellation policy.
The meteoroids 2013 sessions will be organized at Campus of Adam Mickiewicz University. People who attend "Meteoroids 2013" are recommended to book a hotel near the University Campus as this is rather far away from the IMC host.

25 June 2013 all rooms in the main IMC host, IOR hotel, are booked now. It is still possible to register and extra rooms are available in the nearby Hotel Gromada, a few minutes walk from the IMC host. The fee remains the same.

Cancellation policy:

  • before 1 June 2013: full reimbursement, reduced with a cancellation fee of 15 EUR;
  • from 1 June 2013 onward, but before 31 July 2013: partial reimbursement of 75 EUR.
  • from 31 July 2013 onward: no reimbursement.
