4th Radio Meteor School 2007 - June 6 - 7
We present the 4rd 'Radio Meteor School 2007, a 1.5 day tutorial (Barèges France, June 6 - 7) in which several astronomers working in the field of meteor-astronomy from all over the world, will give lectures on the physical and mathematical theory of radio meteor observations. This Radio Meteor School is a follow-up from the 3 rd Radio Meteor School held in Roden last year.

Practical information

The Radio Meteor School will start on wenesday, June 6 (at 10:00 local time, which is 8:00 UT), and end on thursday, June 7 (in the afternoon). The participation fee is about 60 Euro per person, to be paid upon arrival. Please note that this includes the Radio Meteor School Proceedings, full lodging and meals from Tuesday (June 5) evening till Thursday (June 7) morning, and that the IMC 2007 starts on Thursday (June 7) evening. For every additional night at the conference center, an additional fee of 30 Euro applies (meals included).

The school will be held at "L'Hospitalet", Barèges, France. You will find travel and other information on http://www.imo.net/imc2007.
Participants

The following people will participate in the Radio Meteor School:

Stijn CALDERS
François COLAS

Tom ROELANDTS
Galina RYABOVA (talk: 'One more method to determine radar sensitivity')
Jérémie VAUBAILLON
Jean-Marc WISLEZ
Masa-Yuki YAMAMOTO (talk in collaboration with Kazuka NOGUCHI: 'HRO interferometer and auto-echo-counting program on HROFFT spectrograms.')

Program

You will below find the program.
The general concept is that there will be a lot of time for questions after each presentation and reports will be written down. These reports will be the basis of the Radio Meteor School Proceedings. We are convinced that a lot of useful discussions and ideas will pop up independently of these lectures too, just as they did the previous years.

4) Please note...

If you are presenting a lecture at the Radio Meteor School or IMC, please bring a (preferably electronic) paper or text in English about your lecture if possible. This would help us a lot in putting together the Proceedings for the Radio Meteor School and IMC. All kinds of text documents are welcome, but we prefer plain ASCII LaTeX files above other formats.
I look forward to meeting you all at the Radio Meteor School. Bon voyage!

Best wishes,
for the Radio Meteor School 2007 team,
François Colas
