Instructions for preparing a paper for IMC Proceedings 2004

Your paper presented as a talk or a poster at the IMC 2004 should be send to the IMC Proceedings 2004 editor Mihaela Triglav-Cekada: mihaela.triglavgeod-is.si (Mihaela Triglav)

You can send in one mail up to 6 MB of attachments. If there is no reply in three working days, please send another mail without attachments. In this way you will know for sure if your mail has arrived to the editor.

Deadline for your contribution is: October 31st 2004

If you consider your English is not well, please consult a friend of yours who has better knowledge of English, before sending the paper to the Proceedings editor.

You can send your paper prepared in Latex or Microsoft Word.

The example of a correctly preparet paper is available as Latex source - example.tex, as Word file - example.doc and as a pdf - example.pdf.

- If you use Latex, please make use of the style file proc04.tex.

- If you use Microsoft Word, it is advisable to send a pdf file too, if you can provide it (so that the editor can check equations, special characters, etc).

The pictures should be send separately (not embedded in the Word file) as tiff (LZW compesed) or jpg format (maximum quality/lowest compression). The resolution should be 200 dpi. Do not send ps or eps files. All the pictures (figures) and tables should have a caption and a reference from the main text.

The paper should consist of the following sections:

- abstract
- introduction
- (main text)
- conclusions
- references (full references, for example see example.pdf)
