The International Meteor Organization (IMO)
will hold its next annual International Meteor Conference (IMC) in Šachtička
from September 18 till 21, 2008. Both amateur and professional astronomers are
welcome to join us in this four-day event.
The location is about 8 km from the city of Banská
Bystrica, and about 200 km from the capital Bratislava. The IMC 2008 is
organized by the Maximilián Hell District Observatory and Planetarium at
Žiar nad Hronom and the Observatory of Banská Bystrica. This page provides information
