Participation fee
The participation fee for the IMC'2004 is 100 EUR for the people who register till 1st of July and 110 EUR for those who register later. Together with the registration a prepayment of 50 EUR should be transferred to the IMO Treasurer Mrs. Ina Rendtel.
Preliminary excursion to Byala town
On 23 September in the afternoon an excursion will be organized to Byala town located on the sea coast at about 60 km to the south of Varna. There in the recent years an exposed geological stratum was found corresponding to the time 65 million years ago and bearing traces of the mass extinction of living species that is supposed to be caused by falling of a large meteorite. The transportation will be by a rented bus leaving from the Observatory in Varna at 13:20 h and from the Varna Free University at 13:30 h. Those of you who arrive in Varna early enough can take part in the excursion. It will cost an additional price of 5 EUR which should be paid immediately before the leaving from Varna. Note that it is a preliminary excursion. Of course, there will be one more, traditional excursion (but not to Byala) normally included in the IMC schedule. If you wish to participate in the excursion to Byala you can stay one more night in the hotel before the conference without any problem.
Each individual participant should fill out a form and return it to Ina Rendtel, Mehlbeerenweg 5, 14469 Potsdam,Germany, as soon as possible. Your registration will be guaranteed only after Ina Rendtel has received the minimum pre-payment of 50 EUR. If you wish to participate, but cannot yet decide, simply return this form with the proper option checked to stay on the mailing list for further circulars.
You have to ways to register for the conference - paper and online. Please chose one and don't switch.
If you need visa the deadline for the registration is 1.07.2004. in that way we will have enough time to send you official invitation.
